MAYOR PRO-TEM- SUSAN BATHE

COUNCILPERSON - RHONDA MEEKS

Wade Eilers was born in Houston, Texas. However, his ancestory line dates back to Carmine in the mid 1800s. Wade was sworn into the Carmine City Council in 2001. He has served in the US Air Force Reserves, and worked as an Electrical Designer for the oil and gas field. Him and his wife Nancy Eilers settled in Carmine in 1985. Together they share 2 children, and 4 grandchildren.

Susan Bathe was born Brenham and raised in Carmine. Leaving the area following high school graduation, she lived in various cities in Texas, returning to Carmine in 1994. She is employed in the banking industry and active in various community clubs and organizations including but not limited to being the President for Carmine's Economic Development Committee. She has previously served on Council from 2000 - 2012, and returned in 2015.

RHONDA WAS BORN AND RAISED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS. IN 1977, AT THE AGE OF 16 HER PARENTS DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO MOVE THE FAMILY OF 5 OUT OF THE BIG CITY, AND TO THE COUNTRY. THEY MOVED TO NEW ULM, TX. RHONDA BEGAN HER JUNIOR YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL AT COLUMBUS HIGH SCHOOL. SHE GRADUATED AND STARTED HER FAMILY IN NEW ULM, WHERE SHE STAYED FOR 25 YEARS. IN 2004 SHE BOUGHT A HOUSE IN CARMINE. RHONDA AND HER SON SETTLED IN RATHER QUICKLY, AND LOVE THE COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE OF CARMINE.

COUNCILPERSON - ANITA DRYDALE

Anita Drydale was born in Syracuse, New York. Anita was sworn into the Carmine City Council in 2019. She has lived in and around Houston before moving to Carmine with her daughter to be closer to her parents in 2004. She has spent twenty years employed in the oilfield services industry and enjoys being involved with the community and church.

COUNCILPERSON - BOBBY SHARP

COUNCILPERSON - KEVIN WOELFEL

Kevin is a born and raised Fayette County resident. Growing up in Waldeck, Texas and graduating from Round-Top Carmine ISD. He is the Chief of the Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department, and has been employed for 27 years by Jaeger’s and Shoppa’s. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, operating equipment, and spending time with his family. Kevin is married to Sharon Woelfel, and has three step children.
